MEASURING YOUR FINGER WITH A RULER
- Get a piece of string or a piece of paper about 5-6" long and 1/4" wide.
- Wrap the string or paper around the finger and area where you will wear your ring. Make sure it fits snug, but not overly tight.
- Mark the point on the string or paper where it overlaps.
- Measure the length of the string or paper and compare the measurement to the chart below.
Fingers can shrink or expand when cold or hot, so it's best to measure at a time and temperature that is normal.
Your knuckle may be larger than your finger’s base. Taking two separate measurements and choose a size in between is your best bet. You'll want a ring to fit over your knuckle, but not be too loose.
